This project includes typefaces I designed, typeface approaches and the associated process. Some typefaces were created as part of commissions, such as the “Lakelive” project in 2024, while others were developed independently, such as Kantig_und_Ranzig, which dates back to 2021.
The font for Lakelive was intended to reflect elements such as Lake Biel. It is based on a circular grid and allows for different variations of a letter.
The font Kantig_und_Ranzig was developed in the preliminary course Invers and is characterized by pointed edges and a characteristic design language that is strongly influenced by its grid.
